An additional win for the ANOPC project in Egypt

Assiut National Oil Processing Company (ANOPC) is realizing a new Hydrocracking Complex for the Assiut refinery in Egypt. Different EPC contractors are involved in this large project, including Technip FMC, Siirtec-Nigi, ENPPI, Petrojet and others.

Nijhuis-Saur Industry Group is very much involved in this strategic project as technology provider and equipment supplier. Namely, the design and supply of the complete WWT system for the new Hydrocracker was awarded to Nijhuis earlier this year and a Spent Caustic Treatment Package (based on Siemens WAO technology) is being realized by Unidro.

Additionally, Unidro received multiple orders for highly critical equipment thanks to its proven expertise that combine our shop manufacturing skills, the excellent project management services and undisputed finished products’ quality.

The scope awarded to Unidro includes internals of Degassing Box and Sulphur Pit, Claus Thermal Reactor Package, Claus Burner, Thermal Incinerator, Heat Exchangers and Ejectors for vacuum systems

These days Unidro has been awarded by ENPPI the supply of n.1 Reducing Reactor and n.2 First & Second Converters complete with castable refractory.

The delivery of all our scope is expected in 2022 and all projects are being executed in the two operating centers in the Nedherlands (Doetinchem) and Italy (Milano, Bergamo and Novara).
